Having Moments Where you Blame Yourself for Your Partner’s Affair

Having Moments Where you Blame Yourself for Your Partner’s Affair

The days after finding out about the affair are beyond heart wrenching, emotional and so confusing!

There are so many thoughts spiraling around your mind!

But then a funny thing happens…. you may start to question your role in the affair!  Some wives partly blame themselves and start to feel guilty!

These thoughts may surface…

⭐️ If only I had given him more ATTENTION.

⭐️ If only I had met his NEEDS better!

⭐️ If only I were more ATTRACTIVE & FUN!

Seriously, why do wives start to BLAME themselves for their spouse’s infidelity?

Did you force him to like other women on Social Media?

Did you demand that he start emotionally connecting with his co-worker?

Did you make him lie about why he was so late getting home from work?

NO!

He betrayed you. He betrayed your family!

Yes… There are always things both spouses could do better. But that doesn’t give him permission to cheat!

NOW WHAT?

Sometimes you just want to RUN AWAY!

Other times you can’t imagine BREAKING UP your family!

Step one is to work on you!  How can you heal a marriage if you are not feeling grounded and emotionally more together.

Once you are in a better place and can fully trust yourself and  manage intrusive thoughts, then  you can work on the marriage!
